We learned so much about the area foster care system thanks to our guest speakers this week, Kayla Hinton, a Foster Care Navigator/Recruiter, and Tracy Sweet of the Dept. of Social Services.

The need for foster homes throughout the community is REAL. Currently there are only 9 homes (and 1 respite home) in Branch County and there are 67 children to place. 67!!

YOU CAN HELP!
❤️ Spread the word about the need in our area for foster homes.
❤️ Donate gently used toys, clothes and more to Foster Closet, located across from the Masonic Temple.
❤️ Become a (non-licensed) respite home. Give a family a few days off from their fostering duties.
❤️ Become a licensed foster home and help a child stay within their school system/support group of friends.
